The families of teens unaccounted for after a devastating blaze at a venue in a Switzerland's alpine town are facing an agonising wait for confirmed information and pleading for any details about their loved ones publicly.

The inferno ripped through the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the mountains of south-west Switzerland, in the middle of the night of the first day of the year. Confirmed video reveal the ceiling catching alight as bottles with fireworks are raised in celebration.

Officials have warned that it could take days if not weeks to identify the those who perished of the disaster, which killed numerous partygoers and hurt another 119. A spokesperson noted on Friday that 113 of the those hurt have been identified, with efforts continuing to name the final individuals.

In the waiting period, families and friends have been posting on the internet to request clues about their friends who were present at the venue that night.

Desperate Searches for the Unaccounted For

The fate of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, 16, are still unconfirmed, according to an public plea from his mother.

The resident of Lutry near the city, informed a local newspaper that she had returned to the city to see if he was in the hospital, while his other parent did the equivalent search in Bern, but was unsuccessful.

"This is a living nightmare, a nightmare. The options are finding my son in the hospital mortuary, or I find him in a serious state. It's horrific," she stated.

She explained that some of his companions had been located with injuries covering a significant portion of their bodies. "It's unspeakable; they endured hell."

The Italian foreign ministry has indicated that a number of of its citizens remain missing.

Among them is Emanuele Galeppini, a teenage promising athlete, who hailed from Italy but now living in the UAE.

The Italian Golf Federation has said that he is no longer with us, without directly referencing the fire, paying tribute to a "talented young man who embodied passion and authentic values."

His father, told media that his son was at the bar and was last heard from around midnight. An representative has stated that a formal confirmation of his death is awaited.

Further Missing Individuals

Giovanni Tamburi, sixteen, is also among the missing. His mother said that he had been on holiday but had ventured out with friends and found himself at the bar.

"A close friend informed me they escaped after the fire erupted and that he had his mobile with him, but then at a certain point he couldn't see him anymore," she recounted, adding he had been wearing a distinctive piece of jewelry.

One of his teachers commented, "I remember his kindness and smile, coupled with great maturity. Every time offer to help out."

Alice Kallergis, who holds both Swiss and Greek citizenship but lives full-time in Switzerland, was also present on New Year's Eve, according to media.

Her sibling has posted an urgent request on social media, saying the relatives has had "no updates" regarding the 15-year-old or the group she was with, who are also unaccounted for.

Officials from her other nation say they are actively engaged with the developments.
