Focus shifts for a fascinating top-flight matchup as league leaders Arsenal entertain struggling Wolves to the their home ground.

Confirmed Sides

Preamble

Welcome! And I mean, c’mon …

The table reveals a clear contrast. Arsenal sit comfortably at the summit of the Premier League, while Wolves anchor the league.

… yet while this will be the 42nd occasion the Premier League leaders have taken on the team at the foot of the entire table – with 30 victories from 41, with seven draws – which team is responsible for two of the four all-time upsets? Why, Wolverhampton Wanderers, of course! Therefore, although the Arsenal manager will undoubtedly be expecting another victory, Rob Edwards must know that long shots occasionally come off, and anything is possible. The start is at 8pm GMT. The action is imminent!

(The remaining bottom-beats-top victories in the modern top-flight era are Oldham’s 1-0 win over United in March 1993, and Spurs – admittedly, a surprising one - beating Liverpool in November 2008.)
